AI proposes. You decide.
Every edit the AI makes shows up on your page as a tracked change. Nothing stays until you accept it.
Orwellix is a writing workspace where AI suggests edits right on your page and you decide what stays. This is why we built it.
Good writing starts with one clear idea. It is important to note that most readers will probably stop reading when the sentences start to become too long and complicated. Most readers stop when sentences get long and tangled. So give every sentence one job.
Short sentences are only half the job. Each paragraph should make one point, in words your reader already uses.
Before you publish, read the draft out loud. If you run out of breath, the sentence is too long.
In conclusion, it can be said that clear writing is something that has the ability to make a significant difference in terms of how your message is received by your audience.
Clear writing changes how people hear you. Say it plainly, and readers stay with you.
Orwellix started with one of us: a content writer who ran a few content websites and wrote code on the side.
Every article went through the same routine. Draft in one tab. Paste it into an AI chatbot to improve it, then paste the result back. Run it through a grammar checker. Check readability in another tool and plagiarism in another. Then fix whatever was left by hand.
Each tool was good at its one job. Together they were a mess: hours of copying and pasting, a document that lost its shape, and AI rewrites that sounded a little less like the writer every time.
The idea came from a side project. While building small apps to practise coding, it clicked: the problem wasn't any single tool. It was that every tool lived somewhere else.
What if a writer had one workspace with every tool they need, and an AI that worked on the page instead of in a separate chat? So the side project became the real project. The first version of Orwellix was built by one self-taught developer, in under a year.
Then other writers tried it. They liked the idea, told us what was missing and kept coming back. Their feedback has shaped every version since.
A good editor doesn't take your pen. They mark up your page, show you every change and let you decide. We think AI should work the same way.
Every edit the AI makes shows up on your page as a tracked change. Nothing stays until you accept it.
The agent works with your draft, your structure and your tone. It improves what you wrote instead of replacing it.
Writing, AI editing, grammar, readability and plagiarism checks live in one place, so your work never leaves the page.
Our name is a nod to George Orwell, who in 1946 set out a few simple rules for clear English. Eighty years later they are still the best test of good writing, so we built them into the editor.
One writer built Orwellix to fix a problem they faced every day. Today a small team runs it and grows it, and we still write with it ourselves.
We're small and independent. We read the feedback writers send us, and we ship improvements every week based on how people actually use Orwellix.
If you write for a living, for a grade or for your work, we built it for you.
