PART I: Free Services & Public Website

1. License & Usage

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our free readability tools and text generators for personal or commercial use.

2. "As-Is" Disclaimer

Free services are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. Since our free tools operate entirely in your browser without server storage:

• No Data Retention: We are not responsible for any lost text if your browser crashes or you close the tab.
• Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to these tools.

PART II: Registered Application Services

3. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password. We offer Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and strongly recommend enabling it. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

4. Free Trial Terms

• Trial Duration: New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial when signing up for Pro or Premium plans.
• Payment Authorization: A valid credit card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period.
• Trial Credits: During the trial, you receive limited credits: 20 AI credits, 20,000 grammar characters, and 2,000 plagiarism words.
• Auto-Conversion: After 7 days, your trial automatically converts to a paid subscription and your credit card will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Post-Trial Credits: When your trial converts to a paid plan, you receive your full plan allocation minus any credits used during the trial.
• Trial Cancellation: You may cancel your trial at any time during the 7-day period. If cancelled, you retain access until the trial end date and will not be charged.
• One Trial Per User: Free trials are limited to one per user.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis via Lemon Squeezy, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record.
• Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.
• Refund Policy: We offer a 10-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 10 days of your initial purchase. After this period, no refunds (partial or full) are provided.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

6. Credit System Policy

Orwellix operates on a tiered credit system for resource-intensive features:

• Allocations (Monthly):
  • Pro Plan: 120 AI Credits, 200,000 Grammar Characters, 20,000 Plagiarism Words.
  • Premium Plan: 350 AI Credits, 550,000 Grammar Characters, 55,000 Plagiarism Words.
• Consumption: Ask Mode costs 1 credit/conversation; Agent Mode costs 2 credits/conversation.
• Expiration: Unused credits do not roll over to the next month. They reset at the start of each new billing cycle.
• Fair Use: Automated scraping or programmatic access to our AI endpoints is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.

PART III: General Provisions

7. Intellectual Property & Content

Your Content: You retain full ownership and copyright of any text you write or upload to Orwellix. You grant us a limited license only to host, encrypt, and process this content to provide the service to you.

AI Output: You own the output generated by our AI tools. However, due to the nature of machine learning, output may not be unique across users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orwellix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Orwellix is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
